“The GBA supply chain creates exciting synergies and opportunities for MiC development in Hong Kong. However, the limited capacity of module supply and cross-boundary logistics impose challenges to the quality delivery of millions of modules for Hong Kong’s development. Therefore, with funding support from the Strategic Public Policy Research Funding Scheme of the HKSAR, we have been conducting a research project to address the urgency and importance of understanding and enhancing the MiC supply chain in the GBA. This booklet reports on part of this research project, presents the findings of MiC supply–demand analysis, and provides a policy roadmap with action plans for enhancing the maturity of the MiC supply chain.”
