Summary

MiC builds on the modular construction approach which has been utilised worldwide with significant benefits demonstrated. To realise and contextualise the above benefits, several projects in Hong Kong have been identified and confirmed to be pilot projects of adopting MiC. This project aims to make strategic and impactful contributions to the future sustainable development of Hong Kong in line with the burgeoning promotion of technology and innovation in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area and the Belt & Road by exchanging the knowledge on disruptive Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) based on the world-leading research at HKU.
