Reducing construction waste in Hong Kong through adopting innovative modular integrated construction

Summary

Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) is a new policy initiative in Policy Address to enhance productivity and competitiveness. However, there was no previous research into reducing construction waste through MiC. This project aims to reduce, recycle and reuse construction waste in HK through adopting innovative MiC.

Team

This project is led and coordinated by Professor Wei Pan of Department of Civil Engineering of The University of Hong Kong (HKU), with project team members from HKU, collaborators and supporters from a wide range of government and industry organisations in Hong Kong.
